I had a Tarrant mag release I used for about 8 months with my SA mags and the mags eroded the mag release to the point that it wouldn't hold the mags in place. Get a Shield Arms mags catch.The mags seem eager to pop out with a very light push of the button. Current plan: Test to determine approx how many rounds it takes to noticeably degrade or break the OEM plastic catch with the metal mags. Change the catch preemptively at half of that number. Once I'm done testing, would expect to see 1k - 1.5k rounds a year.
